CHC53415 DIPLOMA of LEISURE AND HEALTH – CRICOS CODE: 092054B
This qualification reflects the role of workers with responsibility for designing, implementing and evaluating health and leisure activities, and programs for clients in one or more sector areas. Work may be in residential facilities and/or in community agencies and day centres. Workers work under supervision or as sole practitioners and may be required to plan, coordinate and evaluate other workers and work teams within broad but generally well-defined guidelines.

Entry Requirement
- Have completed Year 12
- Have obtained an IELTS band score of at least 5.5 – or equivalent test score; or
- Have completed a Certificate III, Certificate IV, Diploma or Advanced Diploma level Training Package course in Australia; or,
- Have completed any Certificate III or Certificate IV in ESL or EAL from the ESL/EAL Framework (VIC)
Course Duration: 105 weeks full time
Work placement: 240 hrs
Students will need to obtain a National Police Check before commencement of their work placement.
The costs incurred in obtaining the National Police Check will be borne by the student which is not included in the course fees.
